    Default hv30 hdmi output details

    hi all,

i spent a lot of time reading this forum, but i'm still not sure about some hdmi output details for live capture (no tape) with hv30 :

    - what is max framerate through hdmi ? is it interlaced ? so is it 30p, 60i, 60p ?

    - is it true 1920x1080 from the sensor, or is it upscaled from 1440x1080 ?

    - is there any lag if i connect directly to an hdmi tv ?

Hi malak2, and welcome to the forum!

I don't normally use HDMI recording, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm pretty sure HDMI always outputs 1920x1080 60i (NTSC/North American models).

    thanks Erik,
yes it seems most likely, and 50i for PAL model, but i'd just like to be sure.
answers to the others questions are still welcome.

I've always wanted to try this but never got around to setting it up since you'd need some type of recording device. Otherwise, its a cumbersome affair, but you should be able to receive the full worth of the 1920x1080 censor.
