    Default hv30 LCD replacement.

    Does anyone know if an hv20 LCD screen will work on an hv30? I have located an hv20 lcd on ebay for around 25.00. For some reason my foggy memory tells me they upgraded the LCD from hv20 to hv30. I dont really care about throwing an hv20 lcd on an hv30 as long as it will work. Anything is better than the big crack that it has now. It's actually my daughters cam. And she really likes it. So I figure I might as well try a fix before I get her a new one. thanks

    If they haven't changed the screen's driver software, then I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work. maybe our firmware guru can chip in here.

    Wow! Antman's still alive! =P
    For 25$, you can't really go wrong I'd say. Just put it back to sale if it doesn't work in the worst case.
