Mountain Lion

According to different posts in other fora, Mountain Lion runs zippier than Lion, is, for a .0 version, amazingly stabile, and is well worth the 20 bucks it costs.

Issues I'd have:
- FCS 2 is finally broken. FCS 3 works, but there are some problems with some plugins.
- Canon XF Utility doesn't work. Not that it is actually needed, but i use it for transferring my cards from the camera. It is a nice tool to preview your footage (a hold over from tape workflow for me).

I hope my CS6 license will come soon, then I'll install ML on at least one machine. Even if that means to say good bye to an old, trusted friend (FCS).

One day - it seems a long way off now though - I may buy a MacBook Pro again. I'm watching the advancements in FCP X with interest. By the time I could afford the luxury of another Mac it should be a damn fine piece of software. Still, the primary reason for pining for a Mac is this:

Dang, yeah, that's the reason for a Mac. There's a site somewhere that has all the Apple ll games. Hours if fun.

FCP X is a very fine piece of software now already. I prefer it over FCS for quite a while already, but still need DVDSP and Soundtrack. The only reason why I get CS6 (for Audition and Encore).
