Default lens needed to get baseball batter and pitcher larger than stock?

When I tape the baseball pitcher and batter they both are too small. Is there a lense that would allow both players to be in the video but larger? I am using a HV20, thanks for the help.

    There's a 2.2x tele converter from Raynox.

WTF do you mean? Show us a framegrab or screencap.

Instead of a 2.2x tele you might be better off with WA to get closer and play the angles.hv20_dcr6600pro.jpg

Silly Kiwi ... to get a shot like the one you posted with a wide angle lens, you'd have to be standing between the pitcher's mound and second base!

Silly? But I posted the shot to encourage the guy to post a framegrab so we can see what he is getting and therefore help him further. Silly, huh? Nothing wrong with being hit in the head with a flying baseball - if you get the shot that is.

True. But getting the batter and pitcher larger than stock? What does that infer? Closer? Wider?

That you've far exceeded the limits of your camera. Just take a look at some of the camera packages used to capture sporting events.

I simply don't understand what the OP wants to achieve. To have full length actions shots of pitch and strike? Let's wait for a reply.

to me just having clicked the link you provided which in turn opened up a new window in my Firefox
browser. I knew it was going to be a vimeo page as I read the link before clicking it. So once at
the vimeo page I used my Logitech M570 mouse and clicked on the small play button and then the
video began to play and I watched and listed to the video. I enjoyed the video very much and then I
came back to this page and began typing this response...

    Cheers!

By the way, funny way how they just strap that mic to the top of the cam (right at the end).
Wouldn't have thought that would work too well....learn something new everyday!

That jumped out at me too - the mic placement is the strangest thing in the whole video considering the care taken with the camera.
